Yikes! I have an entire month of bloglessness to amend for at the moment... This is gonna be long-winded so don't hold your breath unless you want your eyes to pop out from the pressure  .
Okay...I finished off at about the end of February, so March must be dealt with, also due to the evil spoons and the unbalanced monkey. However, despite the fact that I have the distinct impression that March was a highly interesting month, I seem to be suffering from memory loss of some sort that leaves me unable to recall much of that entire month. What I do recall shall be summarized here..."run jill run ahhh the shirt is hypnotizing me bye jenn happy birthday megan lunging up hills really is sensational CAR!!! wow it feels like summer now...ooh snow! 3x Joshua a scary shootout daylight savings time support for cpu pistachio pudding."
There you have it...March in a can.
April is cool so far, Laura is an adorable Easter Bunny and my brother is getting cuter by the second. West Ed. was fun too - thanks dad!
Yay! Mr Jeffery isn't going to have a heart attack! :D For anybody who didn't get that, it just means that the shrine of Model UN outside room 301 will be keeping its centerpiece of six years....the nice shiny best delegation trophy! (Congrats to Benin, especially Amy, for your victory! :D ) I really do not know what would have happened to Mr J without that trophy  . He's had it for eight years now, and they're like one entity (*sci-fi theme plays* ahhhhhh...it's parasitic!!!). Anyways...the Bahraini delegation didn't get recognition, but I think we did pretty well. I personally managed to amend a resolution... :D
5. Suggests an amendment of the Charter of the United Nations designating space an international zone of peace.
Tell that to the Klingons when they get here! But it is still mine *glances around suspiciously, clutching amendment to her chest* my own....my PRECIOUS! Anyways, it passed through Plenary, and the Egyptian one didn't....SO I WIN!!!!!!!
Hi everybody!!! :D Wow it's been a long time since I last posted  ...let's remedy that now shall we? My toe hurts! I cut the nail too short, then had to spend two days in heels, then...(here's the part where you laugh so hard that it almost looks like tears of sympathy) I dropped a dilly bar on my toe and it HURT!! (FYI the freezer was too cold so the dilly bar didn't even get dented...that's how hard it was! ) On the subject, it was a defective dilly bar  !!! The entire box was defective! They didn't have noses! (*Goes out and waves a protest sign* Bring back the noses!!! We don't want mutant dilly bars!!! Genetic engineering on ice cream is just WRONG!!!) :D I don't know if I WIN!!! right now due to the bruised up toe, so I just win!
Bahrain Power! For those of you reading this who didn't already know (or haven't already guessed) I get to participate in the High School Model UN at U of C this weekend! If you don't know what Model UN is, well tough luck  - I'm not explaining it here (you can figure most of it out yourself from the links up and to the left.) I am representing Bahrain, a very interesting country...so interesting in fact that I hadn't even heard of it until about 3 months ago. :D There is a reason for that....Bahrain is too small to show up on most maps, and it's population is smaller than Calgary's. . <---Look! it's Bahrain on a map (get an order in for glasses if you can't see it!) :P >But (you know what's coming...) BAHRAIN WINS!!!!! (mini disclaimer....randomflute cannot be responsible for any poorly attached clothing or weak eardrums which may have been damaged by that last paragraph) (Just for Lauren: and we are the christeners of the Bahraini Pickle Suite...therefore we doubly win!)
On a lighter note, I found a comic that captures some excellence from the essence of Star Trek. (And just for you Laura, it's from Voyager!) "No Place Like Home" Enjoy!!! :D
Woohoo! I want to express my thanks to Progressive for sending me some absolutely awesome comics as well as a link to a site full of them (see link to Sev Cartoons)! You absolutely made my day, and i thank you for that! :D Now for my rant... Yesterday I was absolutely miserable and really grumpy. I am starting to get really sick of "Anonomous", "Anonomous2", and "Newbie" (henceforth referred to as "the lowest life forms on the planet"), and how mean they are being to my friend Krista and her friend Dani. The said life forms insist on harrassing these absolutely awesome people, but keeping their anonymity so that my friends can't even defend themselves. I'm trying to help, and I hope some of you reading this will too (see the link to Krista's awesome blog), but it's just getting to be a real pain in the toosh. :( But again...thanks for the smiles Progressive...I really needed them! :D
Yay, the wonders of Honours English. We have to write a poem on an animal this weekend, and I'd say mine's going pretty nicely! :D So shout out! What do you think of my pretty poem?
Navy and grey, a shadow in the twilight; Frozen laughter masks inner sorrow. The lust for prey hunts the hunter, ensnares him in a net. Cast aside; never again to play tag with the sunlight over the waves; Or dive past the penetrating aurora; To the unlit depths, where the click of echolocation reigns supreme, Over the deafening silence. All that remains as the jester lies forgotten in his suit of oiled silk. Never to sing again; the canary of the sea.
Hi, I'm Kim. I go to Western Canada High School, and play (you guessed it) flute in the grade 10 concert band (yup that's Krista's band too). I'm also in choir, I played soccer, and did X-country, wrestling and am in swimming as we speak. I am a Trekkie!!! (see the link) and not afraid to say it! Star Trek is fun to watch and laugh at, and nobody will ever make me ashamed to admit what is true! That's about it for the time being! Star Trek WINS!!!
Hello everybody! Yay...now I get a place to rant alongside all you guys and be known (all you guys have stetsons, I have Krista *huggles Krista.*) I also get to aid in the fight against "anonomous" *shudders again at the spelling* and "newbie"...may they never again continue to disgrace our virtual halls! Wheee! funfun! I SO TOTALLY WIN!!!
